We are catching teams that started before us. Probably 420 teams headed out before us. We have passed over 180 and been passed by 40 or so. Ahead of schedule but sore and feet hurting. Phil, Scott, and chip made amazing first and second runs. Joel is plain fast. Van two is mowing down the field like a machine. They are precision in their navigation logistics which turns out to be a significant part of this race.
Once again, we dive into an adventure with no experience. That's our mantra. Everyone we talk to has non runner drivers or helpers. They live nearby know the roads have just a couple of newbies on their team.
Not us.
I think we are lost. No cell service.
